THE ROAST

City +

Our Honduras Lempira is roasted to a CITY+ level with a drop temperature of 380.2°F. This medium roast highlights the coffee’s natural sweetness and structure, enhancing its rich body and smooth texture. The roast draws out notes of roasted hazelnut, brown sugar, and vanilla, creating a dense, comforting cup with clean balance and lasting depth.

Origin

Cerro Azul farm in Comayagua, Honduras, sits at 1680m and is home to the Meirisch family—four generations of growers since 1900. Hand-picked at high altitude, their Lempira coffee thrives in rich soil and cool air, yielding sweet, clean, and elegant cups.

Farmer

The Meirisch family's legacy began in Nicaragua and took root in Honduras in 1900. Today, Wilfredo's descendants continue this tradition at Cerro Azul, hand-harvesting each coffee cherry. This labor-intensive, family-focused approach preserves exceptional quality, tradition, and taste.

Cup

This medium-roast Lempira offers a velvety, full-bodied experience with notes of hazelnut, brown sugar, and a vanilla finish. The balanced roasting highlights its unique terroir for a clean, comforting brew.
