The Lempira variety is grown on the Cerro Azul farm, located in the Comayagua region of Honduras. The farm belongs to the Meirisch family, four generations of coffee growers. The descendants and grandchildren of Wilfredo Meirisch, whom migrated from Nicaragua in 1900, continue to operate the farm to this day.

THE ROAST

City +

Our Honduras Lempira is roasted to a CITY+ level with a drop temperature of 380.2°F. This medium roast highlights the coffee’s natural sweetness and structure, enhancing its rich body and smooth texture. The roast draws out notes of roasted hazelnut, brown sugar, and vanilla, creating a dense, comforting cup with clean balance and lasting depth.

Origin

Cerro Azul farm in Comayagua, Honduras, sits at 1680m and is home to the Meirisch family—four generations of growers since 1900. Hand-picked at high altitude, their Lempira coffee thrives in rich soil and cool air, yielding sweet, clean, and elegant cups.

Farmer

The Meirisch family legacy began in Nicaragua and took root in Honduras in 1900. Today, Wilfredo’s descendants run Cerro Azul, hand-harvesting each cherry. Though labor-intensive, this family approach preserves quality, tradition, and exceptional taste.

Cup

Roasted to CITY+ (drop: 380.2°F), this Lempira offers a velvety, full-bodied cup. Layers of hazelnut and brown sugar lead, with a soft vanilla finish. The medium roast balances roast presence and terroir expression for a clean, comforting brew.
