Journey to the heart of Ethiopia's Sidama zone, south of Yirgacheffe, where the exquisite Sidamo variety flourishes. Cultivated by family farms within the Hawissa organization, these dedicated growers practice "garden agriculture," nurturing their coffee plants within the embrace of lush forests for natural shade. This unique approach results in a limited annual yield of no more than five bags, making each sip a truly rare and special experience.

THE ROAST

 CITY+ ROAST DROP> 370.4°F | Agtron: 70

To capture the essence of our meticulous cultivation and washed processing method, we lightly roast our Sidamo. This delicate roast isn't just a process; it's a celebration of the bean's natural flavors and aromatic compounds. The result? A vibrant cup that transports you to the birthplace of coffee, bursting with notes of juicy blueberries, warm cinnamon, and a lingering finish of rich dark chocolate.

Origin

Ethiopia's rich genetic diversity, cultivated over centuries, provides various unique coffee profiles. By carefully selecting and expertly roasting these distinct sub-varieties, we craft exceptional blends and single-origin offerings, delivering our customers a superior and more diverse coffee experience.

Farmer

At the heart of our Ethiopia offerings are the farmers of the Hawissa Cooperative in Sidama—a community deeply rooted in coffee tradition. As part of a broader initiative in Jimma and Agaro, we support over 600 family farms facing the challenges of climate change, helping them improve yields and quality. In return, we gain access to distinctive, high-grade coffees that celebrate their land and craftsmanship.

Cup

While brewing our Ethiopia Sidama, you’ll experience a cup that tells the story of its birthplace—where coffee first took root. Grown in high elevations and carefully washed, this coffee is roasted light to highlight its vibrant character. The result is a clean, expressive cup with delicate notes of blueberries, a gentle hint of cinnamon spice, and a lingering finish of dark chocolate. Every sip reflects the unique terroir of Sidama and the generations of knowledge behind each bean.
